PS3

So I've sort of always thought that I would eventually get a PS3. At the moment it doesn't seem worth it, but that could soon change. Apparently Sony announced a new 80GB PS3 that comes with MGS4, a DualShock 3 and a $500 price tag. Since it seems like i'm essentially buying the system on the merits of Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, that sounds like a worth while deal. The expected release date is June 12th. Note, that's two months after GTA IV comes out. I guess the question is, is GTA IV really worth buying the system sooner? I love GTA as much as the next guy but I'm gonna have to say no.

Reason 1. If I buy a PS3 now, its not gonna come with the DualShock which is total pain in the ass. I refuse to play Metal Gear without one. If Psycho Mantis comes back from the dead, I want to be ready.

Reason 2. I don't really have the time to enjoy GTA at the moment. If I get it on June 12th that's right at the start of summer break. That means that I should be able to catch up on all two of the games that I missed since the systems release.

Reason 3. If I get a summer job I might actually be able to afford a PS3 without selling my dog or going hungry for a few months.
