I never really got into the Guitar Hero or Rock Band franchises for two main reasons. First, I suck at playing the guitar. I don't think i've ever really successfully encountered a musical interment in my entire life, and honestly it's not due to a lack of trying. To be fair I got stuck playing the tuba in highschool, and piano recitals where never really my thing.
The second reason is due to the fact that those games have become crazy expensive. There are very few things that i'm going to be willing to shell out $250 for and, unlike a mountain of pizza, a plastic drum set is not one of them. Having said all of this, when my roommate's girlfriend left her guitar at my house I figured I'd give it a shot and honestly it's pretty fun. I still suck at it, but I can shred through Welcome to the Jungle so I guess thats pretty good. So yeah, Guitar Hero is pretty good. I know this comes as a shock to many of you.
The real confusing thing about this whole situation is that my roommate's girlfriend lent us a game. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to work that way. It's definitely a good thing that more people are playing games, but like I said in my last post, I just hope it's not at the expense of the games that I like to play.

So what I meant to say was: screw you, Pete--I've been playing video games since I was in kindergarten.
But I'm glad you're having fun, and aren't I an awesome girlfriend? Yeah?
<_<;
yeah, I wrote this when I didn't really know you that well. So uh yeah you're definitely on the level. I take back what I said. I was more just venting that the best game to come out on the Wii in the last year is like animal crossing.
