So with all of this fervor for the new Bionic Commando, I thought I'd play through the original. I'm glad I did. First let me just explain the plot. You are Rad Spencer, a Bionic Super Soldier who can use his robotic arm to kick some serious ass, and swing wherever the hell he wants. He's sorta like Spider Man but with a better name, a better hairdo, and a bazooka. National Hero and all around good guy Super Joe has been captured by a group of Nazis who call themselves the Bads (just to makes sure no one gets confused), and It's up to you to save him. In order to do so, your going to have to kill General Killt and foil his plan of building a super laser by reviving an evil genius who goes the name of Master D. Anyway Hitler gets revived and calls you a damn fool for trying to fight him, but in the end his head explodes. Did I say Hitler? I meant Master D (Click the picture to watch it go!). Pretty intense huh?. I told you this game is cool.
If you couldn't tell already I'm pretty excited about the new one, even though I don't have the hardware to play it. Maybe by the time it comes out I will, but seeing as I'm going to be paying off my car for most of the foreseeable future it's not likely. Hopefully It'll get the swinging mechanic right. I can't tell you how many games have screwed that up. Well I suppose I actually could, but it just might take a while. Many of them rhyme with Splider Man.
